The Lodge » Gourmet
Prearranged sets of menus are usually served at the dining room of the main house. A variety of dishes are prepared by our very experienced chef: It is not unusual to find deer, top sirloin, fresh trout (same day catch) or fresh sea bass delivered by a morning plane from Lima. The shelter boasts of serving excellent meals at “La Choza” where a built-in oven has been constructed into a hill. Under the lights of miner kerosene lamps and Indian candlelights, the guests can prepare and bake their own pizza according to tradition.
